Internet marketing gets more interesting and complicated all the time. New opportunities and methods pop up continuously. In addition, existing channels also become more involved. For example Google's search algorithm is much more complicated today and varies by location, country portal used, and search.

Tasks have become more numerous with time also. When we first started there were search engines but no Google AdWords, Yahoo or MSN paid search. Article distribution, PR optimization and SMO (Social Media Optimization or Web 2.0) social sites such as YouTube and Flickr were not yet in existence.

In order to track and make sure that all tasks are accomplished we have customized the GTD system for our use. Task are prioritized and organized. Categories include:

  • To do now
  • To do later
  • Waiting for answer
  • Done

We have also developed an interface with our clients so they can see in the subject line which emails need to be read to prevent bottlenecks. This saves you time.
