A Document Security Company had a successful Google
AdWords campaign when they came to us. They were
very hesitant about handing over
the keys to an outside vendor since this campaign
was so successful. However, they were pleasantly surprised. We immediately
started to optimize their campaign which resulted in a big jump
in leads. They needed time to handle all the additional leads.
The next thing they asked us to do was immediately
reduce their spend by almost half with a minimal impact on leads--not
an easy task.
We analyzed the campaign using our software and exported the data. In order to expedite matters we eliminated all ad groups where spending and quality visitors were extremely low. We then concentrated on the other groups.
We couldn't use conversion statistics since there was not enough information to be statistically significant. We therefore sorted the groups by conversion proxies using our proprietary methodology.
This showed us which groups:

- To reduce bids and/or adjust ads

- A 40% reduction in spend with only a 17% decrease in leads

We were originally contacted to start an SEO
campaign. Web site analysis revealed duplicate content issues within
each web site as well as between country specific web sites. A strategy
was developed to neutralize these issues and the entire site was
reorganized based on this strategy.
A usability study was implemented in order to
reveal issues that would impact users as a result of the site reorganization.
Serious flaws were uncovered for first time users who wanted to
order products. Resolutions were integrated into the new web site
organization.
A funnel analysis was then conducted with each
product segmented separately. This revealed additional web site
problems that were subsequently taken care of.
It is always best to eliminate web site usability
and other conversion problems before increasing SEO traffic. To
ensure you don't alienate potential clients with poor usability.

When we first received their Internet web site for review we investigated
the existing condition. Search engines were not spidering the
site and therefore positions in the search engines were very
low.
It should be noted that there was one important
exception. The site had one good keyword phrase position due to
a link from an external site. This just reinforces the principal
that quality links from other sites are very important and can even
overcome significant obstacles in achieving high rankings.
We sent detailed instructions to the web master
on what should be done to enable the search engines to spider this
site. The site was spidered with over 90 pages in Google's
database.The next stage was to research which keywords to optimize
on the web site. A description for directories was written based
on the research we did and submitted immediately. Palbam Class
is now in the Open Directory with a description which will enhance
positions in the Search Engines.
Increasing traffic to the site is not the final goal. Our goal
is to increase the number of potential clients which will contact
Palbam Class. Thus, most of our effort is concentrated on copy
writing which is geared to the client as well as the search engines.
To that end we prepared detailed text, tags and links which were
integrated into the existing site, to further enhance positions
AND most importantly--increase conversions.
In order to measure the results we recommended a statistics package
which details the number of unique visitors, referrals, keyword
referrals and paths. In addition we report search engine positions
for the keywords chosen. Palbam Class can judge the success of our
work in real-time.
This campaign proved to be a success with an increase in sales leads.
So much so that they decided not to continue using our services,
because They are having a hard time keeping up with the

to determine what is the most effective way to monitor the site

Surecomp had a Page rank of zero when they called us. We found the
problem immediately and fixed it for them. Subsequently we found
that Surecomp had good positions in the search engines for some
important keywords. However, they wanted to improve their rankings.
It took us about a month to achieve higher rankings. We also found
additional important keywords which had little competition. Surecomp
now has top search engine positions.
