Most of the lecturers went over very basic material and some repeated what others have said. I think we all know that mobile traffic is important and that many conversion start on mobile and end on desktop.
We also know that mobile users need a fast response rate as they don’t have much patience. But a day of lectures has to have something new – correct?
If you haven’t already, heard, Google has come out with an app analytics solution as part of Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/docs/analytics/ . Worth checking out.
There was a SEO lecture which didn’t add much new but I will repeat one tip as people have a tendency to overlook this. One way to improve search engine rankings is to reduce the organic bounce rate from Googles search engine results page.
You do this by finding out what information people are looking for and not finding on your page. Then you add this info in or you can add a link to where people can find the answer.
Many people don’t like to do this. They don’t want to provide a link that people will use to leave their website. However this is better than having them bounce back to Google.
